Teach in the United States with Abaka
We work with experienced educators from every corner of the world who are ready for a new kind of adventure — teaching in an American classroom while sharing the culture they grew up in. Placement runs up to five years, and when teachers head home, they take new skills, new friendships, and a piece of America with them.

What Every Abaka Teacher Can Count On
Our support model walks with teachers from day one and connects them to world-class resources, including our online learning and networking community. Every Abaka teacher arrives ready — with a cell phone, an interest-free relocation loan, a bank account, and a daily transportation plan already in place. And whenever something comes up, our emergency line is only a call away.
A Salary That Respects Your Profession
Every Abaka teacher is paid on the same salary scale as the American teachers working beside them. Same classroom, same scale — no exceptions.
