Abaka International Outreach was built on a simple belief: a classroom gets stronger every time someone new walks into it. We help experienced educators from around the world step into American schools, and we help those schools make the most of what those teachers bring — new languages, new methods, and a wider view of the world for every student in the room.
Teach abroad without losing your footing. We walk with you through placement, arrival, and your first year in an American school — and we make sure your own culture has a place in the lessons you deliver.

Abaka International Outreach is led by Patrick Acopio, our CEO and President of the Program; Ryan Winkle, Vice President of Operations; Cythel Goma, Director of Employee Experience; and Christine Barcelon, Office Manager. Together they keep the organization close to the teachers who travel and the schools that host them.
